Why Team Bonding is Important

We are stronger together.

Yes, being independent is one of the greatest things you can do for yourself.  You will feel confident, happy, and ready to take on whatever challenges come your way.  I once said to a friend that I didn’t need anyone else in my life to be happy.  My friend immediately told me that I was wrong.

... and I was indeed wrong.

We need people in our lives.  I think of it like a rope bridge.  Alone we are just a string, trying to find something to tie onto.  If we connect our string to enough other people’s strings, maybe we’ll all have enough to make a rope.  If that rope is strong enough, and if we have enough of it, maybe we’ll be able to make a bridge.  That bridge can take us from one side to the other.  This analogy can apply to so many situations in your life, but it is especially important to a cheer, pom, or dance team.  Teams need to be bonded together.

Yes, you are all strong, unique individuals, but you are on a team to cross bridges together, to win competitions, to perform like champions, and to be the best at what you do.  You will not be able to succeed if you do not come together.  Be there for each other, support one another, work together, and be strong.  Eventually all those individual strings will come together to build a bridge.  Only then will you be able to cross to the other side and accomplish your goals.

Now go out there, and be the best, strongest, closest cheer, pom, or dance team you can be!

Keep counting it out, ladies!
